Recently, a fire started in the bedroom of Ibe Kachikwu, the minister of state for petroleum resources. The fire incident happened a week after the minister’s memo exposing a $26 billion oil fraud in the states owned oil firm, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC was leaked to the public.

The fire in the minister’s house, similar to the Ekiti governors, occurred when he was not at home.
